While that pales in comparison to newer era monsters, this is still very good for a Cosmic monster. With all of these buffs, Vanoss can have a ridiculous 24,176 Strength. His other Relic slot, Shield, might seem odd, but Vanoss can equip his self-named Shield, which both gives himself a 50,000 Armor to counteract his not very good Life, as well as boost his Power by 5,040 points. This can be further boosted by his Sword Relic slot, which he can equip LazarBeam's Sword for, boosting his power by up to 10,080.
Another one of his pros is his surprisingly still good Power Stat (for a Cosmic monster), letting him pack a good punch into his attacks. This means that if he loses his Pierce from his Trait either from his Self PER move (but we'll get to that later) or just running out of turns, he can reapply it and guarantee himself a protected turn from any other Attackers unless Double PERd. He has two ways to get Pierce, one being his Rank 3 Status Caster, or his Self Evasion + Pierce move. So what exactly made Vanoss2099 this good? Well, for starters, he had Pierce, the godly effect that allowed him to bypass any protections on monsters. And then in the 50 dollar Pass, we got this absolute BEAST of a unit who was so good that he was originally in SS tier and got 66 uses in Top 100 PvP. In the Gold Pass, there was Hardy, who was a powerful attacker with Vulnerable and Double Damage. i n t e r e s t i n g Water denier who wasn't really good. For the Free players, they got Slugazoid, a. And the first Legends Pass of the Cosmic Era didn't help it out. The Cosmic Era is remembered as an era where most of the actually good mons were P2W.
